We have many gardens in life: relationship with God, family, work, business, friends, ourselves, hobbies, etc. Like a vegetable garden, if we are to keep out weeds, we have to regularly tend to our personal gardens. Becoming too busy or distracted invites weeds. Weeds of neglect, stress, anxiety, frustration, missed goals and opportunities, are just a few. Make it a habit to at least weekly check on each of your gardens to make sure weeds are not growing or taking over. Cut back or cut off where necessary so your garden can flourish.
